Do we need to RSVP? or What’s the deadline for RSVPing?
Yes, please. We know you're busy, but if you don’t let us know you’re coming, we might have to hunt you down with a cake in hand, and that’s a lot of frosting to waste. RSVP by September 1, 2025. Don’t make us text you, DM you, and send you a singing telegram. Please RSVP by then so we can finalize the seating chart and remove the one seat labeled "Emergency Dance Partner."
Remember: If you don't RSVP, we will assume you're busy getting lost in a jungle somewhere. We can only hope you're enjoying that more than our wedding.
Is Khao Lak in Phuket?
Nope, it is not. Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and a buzzing tourist hub, while Khao Lak is a chilled-out mainland region, about 70-80 km north of Phuket.
Phuket brings the party with nightlife and crowds, while Khao Lak serves up serene beaches, lush forests, diving hotspots like the Similan Islands, and a tranquil vibe perfect for nature lovers.
Think of it this way: Phuket’s the life of the party, and Khao Lak’s the peaceful retreat to recover from it!
What is the best way of getting to Khao Lak?
Well, unless you’re planning to swim there (great cardio, not recommended), the easiest route is flying into Phuket International Airport. From there, it’s a scenic 1.5-hour drive north. You can grab a taxi, a private transfer, or even rent a car if you trust your ability to drive on the left side without freaking out.
Pro tip: If you tell your driver you’re in a hurry, they might channel their inner Formula 1 driver—so buckle up and maybe skip the snacks before the ride! 🏎️
Where to stay in Khao Lak?
Rooms can be snagged in advance, and a fancy guest rate will magically appear 10 months before the big day—like a wedding gift just for you! Keep an eye on the website for updates (or set a reminder if you're forgetful like us). But hey, if you’d rather stay elsewhere, no worries! There are so many options nearby, you’ll have no excuse not to show up looking fabulous.
Do I need a visa for Thailand?
Citizens of many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK and most EU countries, can enter Thailand visa-free for 30 days if arriving by air. Citizens of certain countries including India can apply for a Visa on Arrival, which allows a stay of up to 15 days. Always ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. Thailand offers an e-Visa on Arrival for Indian citizens, which can be applied for online in advance, making the airport process faster.
Is it better to carry cash in Thailand?
Most mid-range and luxury hotels, shopping malls, and chain restaurants are happy to swipe your card—because who doesn’t love a good beep at checkout? In hotspots like Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, cards are your best friend.
But for street vendors, markets, and tuk-tuks? Cash is king, queen, and the entire royal family. Remote areas and small towns might look at your card like it’s an ancient artifact.
So yes, bring cash, but leave the suitcase of bills at home. Just pack enough to cover your pad Thai, tuk-tuk rides, and that “totally necessary” elephant keychain. Keep it simple and enjoy the adventure! 💵🐘✨
Is there a gift registry?
We do not expect any gifts. Your presence is the best gift we could ask for. That said, if you feel like contributing to our wishing well, we promise it won’t go toward a karaoke machine (probably). But really, no gifts are necessary—just bring your smiles, your hugs, and your best dance moves! 💕✨
